Dear Pastoral Colleague:
A reminder that the CONSULTATION FOR CHINESE CHURCHES (covering San Francisco, San Mateo, and Marin counties) is scheduled for Saturday, October 27, 2007, at the Sunset Church, 3635 Lawton Street, S.F., from 9:30- 3:30. Street parking is available in the vicinity of the church. If you and your people intend to come but have not yet registered, please do so by Wednesday, October 17th.
During the past few months, I have been working on a brief description of every congregation. My information came from returned questionnaires, visiting church websites, and contacts made by phone. Thank you all for your kindness and generosity in making information about your church available to me. This information will be published in our final report, due fall of 2008.

Collectively, these churches represent a significant and formidable resource for witness and outreach. During the OCTOBER 27TH CONSULTATION, you will hear more about what some of thes churches are doing. We also want to hear from you the issue and challenges facing your congregation. The planning team and I hope I will have an opportunity to meet you then.
Again, if you intend to come, send in your registration by Wednesday, October 17th. Many thanks!
May God continue to bless your days and years in ministry.
